The question that MUST BE ANSWERED:

What if Mary had said no!

Would God then be stuck with this sinless person walking around with nothing to do.

Or perhaps she couldn't say no, therefore, making all of Salvation history the biggest con-job ever committed and making Mary little more than a sacred cow.

Your site does not answer the question, "What if Mary had said no."

Dear SC:

You are not mine in Christ....you are yours in hatred.  Christ does not approve of hatred.  Hatred and slander is a sin.  You have slandered the Church that Christ had instituted by your bias and ignorance.

If you want the true teachings of the Church on the Immaculate Conception, go to Catholic Answers - www.catholic.com or EWTN - www.ewtn.com

Insulting the Mother of Jesus Christ is NOT a very smart thing to do.

I have the truth in the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.  Founded  by Christ, and thriving in an unbroken succession  from the Holy Apostles,  guided by the Holy Spirit, against which the gates of Hell shall not  prevail.

All other so-called "Christian" denominations are off-shoots of the heretic  Martin Luther, whose reformation severed the unity of the True Church.  There are now 2,500 "Protest"  denominations, with  60,000 sub-sects, teaching  a false doctrine.  By that evidence alone, one  should be warned that  participation in Luther's heresy is NOT IN THE WILL  OF GOD.

It is so sad that anti-Catholics, such as yourself, refuse to look at the  evidence of the Early Fathers which proved that the Early Church conducted itself very much like the present Catholic Church - not like the Lutheran,  Protestant, Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, etc., church.

I would suggest you tune into the Coming Home series on EWTN -  www.ewtn.com - and learn how others, who disparaged  the Catholic Church, has found the fullness and truth of the faith by "coming home" to the Roman Catholic Church.

Please answer the question: What if Mary had said no.

The question should really be, "What if Christ said No to his Heavenly  Father?"  The plan for the salvation of mankind was revealed in Genesis.   Both Jesus and Mary had the right to say NO.  They said YES!  Praise God for  his Divine Plan and for Jesus and Mary's cooperation with that plan.  Or else, we would all still be doomed to Hell.

Mary was conceived without sin so that she could be  the purest vessel for  the body, blood, soul and divinity of Christ.   She  is referred to the  second ARK OF THE COVENANT.

The Immaculate Conception refers to MARY'S conception, not Jesus' - most  non-Catholics do not understand this doctrine.

I will leave it up to your imagination to answer the  question, what if Mary  said NO.

We are talking about Mary, her free will and her
choice.  She could have said no.  What then.

Is this a trick question?  What then?

God the Father chose Mary - as the scriptures say -  "full of grace" to be His chosen vessel for the birth of His "only begotten" Son - the Messiah.

Mary knew, as every Jewish woman knew, that the Messiah was promised thru a  virgin.

She said her YES and recited the Magnificat.

How grateful we should be for her YES.  Rather than send trick questions, why don't you concentrate on praising the Lord for her YES.

I fail to see how questioning the belief that Mary was the only human being God ever created who was denied the free will to choose or reject Him is a "trick question."

The Roman Church has made Mary something of an animal.  A sacred cow created to breed.

And I have already stated my position:

"The beauty of the real Mary is that she was simple and did nothing out of the ordinary
for a woman.  Her greatest deed was to say YES to God.  Something all people of all
times have the ability and the obligation to do.  To give God justice."

More evidence of your putrid hatred for the Catholic Church.

The Catholic Church has made Mary an "animal" ?!?!?  A "sacred cow" created to breed ?!?!

I would like to have your full identity - full name.  I bet you are a  radical feminist, together with your rabid hatred of the Mother of Jesus.

For shame!  Please don't pose as a Christian.  You are not!

This is my last correspondence with you.  I do not communicate with hate mongers!

You need help!

My dear, try using logic rather than mindless emotion.   You'll go further.

December's questioners were many but mindlessly the same.  They believed in predestination.  God knew and didn't have to wait for an answer.  (Like the average human owner of a prize breeding animal.)

Adoramuste was recently kicked off a "catholic" forum when the subject turned to free will.  Get the whole thing blow by blow here:

Catholics believe in Free Will - NOT!

And so the question remains:

What if Mary had said no!

Would God then be stuck with this sinless person walking around with nothing to do.

Or perhaps she couldn't say no, therefore, making all of Salvation history the biggest
con-job ever committed and making Mary little more than a sacred cow.
